WHY IS FACEBUILDING EFFECTIVE?
The essence of facebuilding is in strengthening and toning facial muscles with the help of special exercises. You don't doubt that regular dumbbell lifts develop biceps muscles, do you? A muscle that works under workload gets stronger and bigger in volume - it's a well-known fact. Muscles in the face are smaller and thinner than those in the other parts of the body, but they still have the same structure. Thus, it's obvious that they will get toned, grow in size and become stronger.
ARE THERE ANY AGE LIMITATIONS FOR PRACTICING FACEBUILDING?
You can practice facebuilding at any age. Younger people will get their facial muscles toned and will make them stronger, enhance the complexion and correct any flaws (such as double chin, excess fat deposits, etc.), but most importantly - prevent ageing of the face and neck. People of an older age will, in addition to the effects listed above, get rid of any age-related changes (loss of skin elasticity, drooping cheeks and eyelids, wrinkles and folds).
DO I NEED ANY SPECIFIC PREPARATORY TRAINING TO PRACTICE FACEBUILDING? I AM NEITHER A COSMETOLOGIST, NOR A DOCTOR, AND NOT EVEN A FITNESS TRAINER. CAN I STILL PRACTICE?
You don't need any special prior training to start practicing facebuilding. It is only facial muscles that work during a class, and the rest of the body is still. So your overall physical fitness is not of relevance here.
DOES IT MATTER IF THE TECHNIQUE IS CORRECT OR NOT? WHAT IF I MAKE ANY MISTAKES WHILE PERFORMING THE EXERCISES?
The exercises should be performed correctly up to every minor detail. Otherwise, you will not only fail to achieve the results you're looking for, but you might also develop new wrinkles and folds. This is exactly why you should start practicing with a trainer. An instructor will help you master the technique and correct all the mistakes while taking into account the specific needs of your face.
HOW SOON WILL I GET THE RESULTS?
First changes will become visible within two weeks after you've started practicing. The quality of the skin and the complexion will improve; you will also notice that your muscles have become toned. More profound changes will take place after 2 or 3 months of regular practice. To preserve the results and to prevent new wrinkles from appearing, it is necessary to keep practicing without interruptions.
WHEN SHOULD I NOT PRACTICE FACEBUILDING? ARE THERE ANY CONTRAINDICATIONS?
We recommend not doing any FB related exercises in the following cases:
- Existing and relevant traumas or inflammatory disorders of the cervical spine and/or jaw joints;
- Existing and relevant inflammation of the trigeminal and/or facial nerve;
- Acute viral infections with fever;
- Facial herpes, conjunctivitis;
- Unhealed wounds on the face and neck
We advise precaution (ask your trainer about details), although it is possible to practice, in the following cases:
- Old injuries of the cervical spine and jaw joints;
- Thyroid diseases (be sure to consult with the doctor regarding the permission to train).
- Your trainer and our staff will always be available to best advise you in case of doubts or problems.
DOES IT MATTER WHAT TIME OF DAY DO I TRAIN? WHICH IS BETTER: MORNING, DAYTIME OR EVENING?
No, there's absolutely no difference. What is important is that you feel comfortable; don't make yourself train when you don't feel like doing so.
